Kansas City is holding a groundbreaking ceremony for work on the N Oak Trafficway Reconstruction project. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The project spans along N Oak Trafficway between NE 42nd Street / NE Briarcliff Parkway to NE 46th Street and involves reconstruction of the 4-lane roadway, enhancing stormwater conveyance, upgrading streetlighting, and adding new pedestrian / bicycle facilities.
