Kansas City is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Phase II of the N Mexico City Avenue construction project. This effort involved the construction of new roadway from NW 132nd Street up to the new NW 136th Street. Improvements include three, 12-ft lanes for southbound traffic, two, 12-ft lanes for northbound traffic (with accommodations for a third lane), curbs and gutters, sidewalks, storm sewers and other features.
