Kansas City Public Works is holding an open-house meeting about a proposed "Safe Routes to School" project, spanning along N Congress Avenue and NW Barry Road. This event will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at Congress Middle School (8150 N Congress Avenue). The project involves safety improvements that will enhance connectivity to the nearby Park Hills schools. This upcoming meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the project and get questions answered by Kansas City staff. All are welcome at the event!
