A new parking garage is coming to the 18th and Vine Jazz District, and a local artist's work will be displayed on the building when it is finished! A Request for Proposals went out to artists in July 2025 and finalists have now been selected. Kansas City will now hold an open house event for the community to view the various finalists' submissions and give feedback about which design they want to see on the garage.
