Join the first tour of the Housing and Community Development Department's 2026 Bus Tour Series on August 7 as we visit projects funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Register using this link.

Participants will get a firsthand look at how investments are supporting community gardens, childcare services, and housing for veterans. Registered attendees will meet at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center. The bus boards at 8:45a.m. and registration is required as seating is limited. The bus will depart at 9 a.m.

• Heroes Home Gate Veterans Facility (2005 E 35th Street) - $800,000 invested
• Guadalupe Child Care Center (3800 E 51st Street) - $164,000 invested
