Kansas City, The KC Streetcar Authority and the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) are partnering to conduct a feasibility study to extend the streetcar east from Main Street to the 18th & Vine District. This study will assess route options, transit demand, and facilitate public engagement to support future planning for the 18th & Vine District. The official study area includes Wyandotte Street to Woodland Avenue, and 17th Street to 20th Street. The second open house event for this feasibility study will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
