107th Street SidewalksCategories:
- Design Phase - KCMO Capital Projects (Public Works)
This sidewalk project will add curbs and sidewalks on the north side of 107th Street. The project also includes storm drainage improvements.
Phase one: Blue Ridge Boulevard to Bristol Terrace
Phase two: Bristol Terrace to Greenwood Road
The 107th Street Corridor is a busy, narrow, two-way street. We are going to make every effort to maintain traffic flowing in both directions throughout construction. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that traffic will flow smoothly while construction is underway. Delays and backups should be expected. Please plan accordingly and keep the safety of construction crews in mind.
Current status: Phase one of the project is currently out to bid.
General project timeline:
- May 2019: acquiring Right-of-Way
- June 2019: utility relocation
- Summer 2019: project out to bid
- Fall 2019: construction begins, weather permitting
A public meeting was held on May 1, 2019. City staff and project partners were there to answer questions, talk through right-of-way paperwork, and show design plans.
