Construction on St. John Avenue from Benton Boulevard to Elmwood Avenue is complete. Work between Elmwood Avenue and Belmont Boulevard is still pending.

St. John Avenue runs east/west through the Historic Northeast and is home to many diverse small businesses, parks, schools and residences. This project will add traffic calming improvements along St. John Avenue from Elmwood Avenue to Belmont Boulevard, specifically in the Indian Mound neighborhood.
The project will be completed in two parts:
Part 1: a study to evaluate traffic, existing conditions, possible traffic calming options, and estimated costs. Public involvement will also be included. The study may need to be adjusted dependent on whether additional funding can be acquired.
Part 2: final design services and construction based on desired improvements identified in the study and available funding.
