The Gregory Boulevard Bridge is located over the Blue River just south of the Kansas City Zoo. The bridge currently has one of the highest volume traffic bridges with the worst structural rating.

Roadway improvements include:

• Funding has been allocated for full replacement project, rather than rehab an over 100 year old bridge
• Pedestrian and bicycle facilities will be incorporated in new bridge design with bike lanes, and 8' shared use path on north side of bridge

This project is currently in the design phase, there are no impacts to traffic at this time.

Project Timeline:        

July 2022: 60% Plans completed, railroad and utility coordination underway
