Project Information
The City received a request by a resident through the Public Improvements Advisory Committee (PIAC) process for safety improvements. As the project team evaluated the request, they created traffic calming and pedestrian improvement recommendations from 27th Street to 31st Street to improve the safety of the corridor.
Project Impacts:
- Save Trees (70-82 Trees). Each Tree captures 48 pounds of CO2 every year.
- Increased reclaimed pedestrian space for the community.
- Shared Used Path that connects 31st St; Gillham Cycle Track; Linwood Blvd
- Reduced vehicle speeds
