The intersection between Noland Road and Highway 350 is located in southern Kansas City between Raytown and Lee’s Summit. The intersection is near Little Blue Valley Park and the project will focus on improving the intersection geometrics.

Roadway improvements include:

• Better traffic flow
• Sidewalks
• Multi-use trail
• Curb and gutter
• Street lights
• Storm sewer

This project is currently in the design phase, there are no impacts to traffic at this time.

Project Timeline:                                 

Current status: December 2021 to December 2022: Environmental clearances continue. Right-of-way acquisition planned to begin this winter.

Sept 2020 to December 2021: Revise design, update and resubmit environmental clearances. Project is pending environmental approval, and planning to conduct virtual public meeting with revised design plans.

April - August 2020: Obtain MoDOT approval of reduced cost design option.

General project timeline:  Right-of-way plans submitted to MoDOT and environmental clearances due to modifications are being evaluated.

Virtual Open House:

A virtual open house was held Tuesday, December 7 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Plans are available for review here and the project team will take comments from the public through this fillable comment card. A recording of the meeting is available to view.
