The Swope Park Industrial Flyover Bridge project is a companion project to the KC Water and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) floodwall project. The realignment of 75th Street and the bridge will provide access to the Swope Park industrial area once complete.

Roadway improvements include:

• Flyover Bridge/Viaduct
• Realignment of 75th Street
• Sidewalks
• Storm sewer
• Curb and gutters
• Retaining walls

There are no impacts to traffic at this time.

Project Timeline:                                 

General project timeline:  Phase 1 of this project is underway, including the pre-load embankments for the bridge. Phase 2, the bridge construction, is anticipated to begin in late 2022 or early 2023.
