Project Description:

North Coventry Ave and Northwest 76^th Street are located just east of Lake Waukomis and AMC Barrywoods in northern Kansas City. The project spans from Northwest 72^nd Street to North Platte Purchase Drive.

Roadway improvements include:

•  Widening from 2 to 3 lanes
•  New sidewalk and multi-use trail
• Increased access and compliance with ADA
• Integrated green infrastructure, including updated LED lighting
• Enhanced pedestrian experience and safety

Traffic Impact:

This project is currently in the design phase, there are no impacts to traffic at this time.

Project Timeline:        

Current status: June 2019- Negotiating design scope and fee.

General project timeline:  This project is still in the design phase and the construction fund is currently unavailable.
