NEWS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Sept. 9, 2019

More than a dozen vendors are uniting with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, to show residents just how easy it is to be ‘green’ during the 2019 KC Green Fair on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ilus Davis Park, 1000 Locust (across the street from City Hall). The midday event showcases local businesses and organizations taking a ‘greener’ approach to maintain the environmental sustainability of the Kansas City region.

Participating organizations include Bridging the Gap, Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), Midwest Recycling Center, Ripple Glass, Rising Sun Solar and the Metropolitan Energy Center. KC Green Fair features ‘green’ demonstrations, activities and giveaways and, since the KC Green Fair runs through the lunch hour, food trucks!

For more information on the KC Green Fair, go to the KC Green web page or contact Esther Swanson at esther.swanson@kcmo.org or (816) 513-7515.
