Kansas City’s talent acquisition team is hosting an onsite hiring fair Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Kansas City Convention Center Grand Ballroom (16th & Wyandotte) from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

This event will feature representatives from multiple City departments, including Water Services, Public Works, Conventions, Aviation, and others. Managers will be onsite conducting interviews for a wide range of open positions, not limited to Bus Operator, Maintenance Worker, Public Health Specialist and Engineering Technician. 

Only Kansas City, Missouri residents are eligible to interview. Candidates can verify their residency using the City’s Parcel Viewer tool here. 

Starting July 1st, job seekers can view and apply for positions available only for the fair labeled, “Hiring Fair Only” at kcmo.gov/jobs. The deadline to apply for these positions is July 11th. 

Applying in advance is strongly encouraged, as it will allow applicants to bypass the onsite application process and proceed directly into the interview process during the event.
