City’s Leaf and Brush sites modify hours

Post Date:03/28/2020 6:03 PM

Starting Monday, March 30 through April 24, our three leaf and brush drop-off centers - 11660 N. Main Street, 1815 N. Chouteau Trafficway and 10301 Raytown Road – will be closed on Saturdays. This is to help comply with the mayor’s emergency declaration to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

Kansas City residents can still drop off their leaves and brush Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proof of residency is required. Non-residents can drop off for a fee.

Only leaves, yard waste, brush (including tree trimmings) and grass clippings are accepted. You may bring leaves in paper yard-waste bags. If you seal your bags, use masking tape only. Do not use wire, duct tape or other plastic tape.

For more information, media can contact Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department Communications/Community Liaison John Baccala at (816) 513-3202.
