Kansas City Hosts “It’s a Date” Doula Match Event

Invitation to KC Metro doulas and KC Doula Program families
for a chance to be matched

For immediate release: Wednesday, January 28

The Kansas City Health Department will host “It’s a Date!”, a friendly meet-and-greet event that helps local families connect with doulas. Families will have short, simple conversations with several doulas to find the right match for them.

This event is for families in the KC Doula Program who have not yet been paired with a doula. It gives them a comfortable place to meet doulas, learn about their support style, and choose someone they feel good about.

Certified doulas in the Kansas City metro area are also invited. Registration for Doulas is required. This is a great chance for doulas to meet families who are actively looking for support.
