Show Your KC Pride!

home sweet home banner redThe City of Kansas City, Missouri, has scored another record year with an all-time high in citizen satisfaction and citywide pride in our KC Chiefs football team, winners of the 2019 AFC West Division. Residents will notice new banners flying on street poles downtown and across the City with the red “Home Sweet Home” theme.

“Kansas City is bursting with success, innovation and achievement,” said acting City Manager Earnest Rouse. “We take great pride in all the work that our employees do each day to make this city great, and city employees are a winning team just like our Kansas City Chiefs.”

Now you can get your own banner, which looks like the ones on the street poles. The half-size commemorative banner (15 x 36) is just $25, plus tax and shipping. Order online at kcmo.gov/kcgear.

We will donate a portion of the proceeds to help provide sports equipment and art supplies for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kansas City.

The City Communications Office has previously designed and sold KC-inspired t-shirts, banners and street signs as a way to engage with residents and provide funding for local non-profits like the City of Fountains Foundation and RBI Baseball.
