District Planners advance the City's vision by updating and implementing Area Plans and other City plans. District Planners also assist with reviewing developments for alignment with the KC Spirit Playbook. Each Council District has a primary planner assigned and serves as a contact for community members and neighborhood groups. View the map below for current District Planner contact information.

Prospect Hickman Mills Corridor Plan

The Prospect Hickman Mills Corridor Plan is a community-driven effort to improve Prospect Avenue and Hickman Mills Road surrounding the area from 75th Street to 87th Street. This plan is made possible through funding from the Public Improvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) at the request of Marlborough Community Coalition and will provide recommendations for improvements to urban design, mobility, land use, neighborhood connections, and the public realm.
