The Office of the Development Concierge is a branch of the City Planning and Development Department’s Administration Division.  Staff can assist with small and large projects.  See the links above for the full range of services.

Preliminary Project Code Review Meeting – Request an optional meeting between design professionals, building owners, other stakeholders, and city staff to discuss Building Code requirements for complex or unique construction projects. Application Fees:

• One- and two-family (single-family and duplex) dwellings: no fee
• Commercial or multi-family proposed design of less than 20,000 square feet: $75.00
• Commercial or multi-family proposed design of 20,000 square feet to 40,000 square feet: $147.00
• Commercial or multi-family proposed design of more than 40,000 square feet: $222.00

Development Support – For guidance with new or existing projects, please use the form below to submit your questions.  Staff can identify the required applications, assist with Compass KC, the online permitting system, and help you navigate the development process.
