The Kansas City Fire Department spends hundreds of hours each year visiting schools, meeting with community groups, and attending special events to promote fire and life safety throughout the community.

KCFD accepts Customer Service Requests (CSR) for fire truck appearances, fire station tours, business walkthroughs, fire safety presentations, fire career talks, and fire drill assistance. Please note that ambulance requests cannot be accommodated.

If your school or organization is located within Kansas City, Missouri, and would like to submit a request or learn more about our public education programs, please complete the online Customer Service Request Form or call 816-513-4632.

Please Note:

  • All requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
  • A customer service representative will contact you within 72 hours to discuss your submission.
  • Due to the high volume of requests, submission does not guarantee participation.
  • Priority is given to events that support public awareness, education, and life safety instruction.
