Cameras and recordings
Missouri Supreme Court Operating Rule 16 (COR 16), and Kansas City Municipal Court Rule 10 apply to the use of and all requests for cameras and recording devices.
All persons, except those authorized in advance by the court to record proceedings, shall be prohibited from broadcasting, televising, recording, transcribing or taking photographs in the courtrooms, and in the corridors and stairways adjacent thereto. Local Rule 10. This includes the use of cell phones and other electronic devices to record or take pictures. COR 16.04 (g)
