Community Partner Bed Details
The community shelters operate with their own unique sets of rules and schedules. The City coordinates with these sites to ensure that every available bed is used. When a spot opens up at a community shelter, staff move people from City-funded locations into those open beds.
These partners provide a specific number of beds for different groups:
- Restart: 180 beds for men, women, families, and youth.
- Shelter KC: 110 beds for men.
- City Union Mission: 100 beds for men.
- KCK Shelter: 40 beds for men and women.
- Open Doors: 10 beds for men.
For specific questions, please contact the shelter directly.
