KCMHA has vacant lots available for purchase. Some of the properties are landlocked and/or are small slivers of property. Please carefully review the site description and ensure the site will support or allow your intended reuse.

Vacant Lots for Sale

Properties are published on the Kansas City Municipal Land Bank Public Site. Some of the property addresses are approximate because an official address is not assigned to the parcel. Where possible, we provide the geocoordinates of the parcel and link to the city’s GIS database, where you can get additional information.

All KCMHA properties are sold “As-Is”. The purchaser will need to prove that they have the ability to rehab the property within a reasonable time frame and to maintain the property going forward. Properties will be sold in accordance with our policies and procedures.

Applications to purchase must include the following:

• A description of the proposed scope of work for rehabilitating the property, including an itemized list of repairs, timeline, and associated costs.
• A description of how the project will be financed and proof of funds for completing repairs.
• The proposed or intended use of the property once repairs are complete.
• A statement concerning the applicant’s past experience completing similar projects.
• An attest statement that the applicant does not own any property with delinquent property taxes or unresolved code violations.
• An offer amount.
