In 2019, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and the City Council passed legislation creating a Tenant Bill of Rights , insuring the rights of tenants across Kansas City. Working with several citizen advisory and community groups including KC Tenants, the Tenant Bill of Rights provides fairness and equality to all parties.
